I just bought this earlier tonight, and now I am sitting here in the dark instead of turning in for the night, just listening to this record over and over again on a loop. My initial reaction was that this is probably one of the best jazz albums of 2022. My considered reaction, as I press play for the 3rd time, is that this absolutely must be among the handful of best records released this year. Spend some time with it, and I think you'll agree.
